Subject: Re: [docbook] Section numbering.
This dot is coming from the gentext (generated text) file for the language you are using. The general process for customizing gentext in DocBook XSL is described here:
http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/CustomGentext.html
And in your case, you want to modify the l:template with name="section" (if you are using section rather than sect1) in the context "title-numbered", as follows:
<xsl:param name="local.l10n.xml" select="document('')"/>
<l:i18n xmlns:l="http://docbook.sourceforge.net/xmlns/l10n/1.0">
<l:l10n language="en">
<l:context name="title-numbered">
<l:template name="section" text=" %n %t"/>
</l:context>
</l:l10n>
</l:i18n>
(the original has a dot after the %n).

Hi,Generated pdf prints *2.1.3.* instead of *2.1.3*
I need help for printing section number in a different way in docbook,
Currently, if there is section like 2.1.3,
In first case there is a dot at the end which can be sometimes confusing. I
dont want that in my pdf.
Please help me fixing this.
Thanks and Regards,
