Topics in docbook

> If DocBook targets are in different directories, the assembly process changes directory references so that either the assembly is valid or the topics are valid, but not both. Cross references to other topics and links to images in topics both are effected. I like to work with DocBook files for their power and simplicity, but topic oriented authoring is far behind DITA.
