Subject: [dsml] DSMLv2-draft12

1. Per Shon and 11/14 conf call, changed references to
"urn:oasis:dsml:names:tc:DSML:2:0:core" to be
"urn:oasis:names:tc:DSML:2:0:core".

2. Removed ref attribute of attr element from searchResultEntry example
in 5.3. (There is no ref attribute for this element.) I then ran the
examples from the spec (minus use of xsi:type) through a schema
validator to make sure they had no other lingering problems -- none
found.

3. Per Nigel's 11/13 mail and 11/14 conf call, changed name of "attr"
child element of DsmlModification to be "modification".

4. Per Nigel's 11/13 mail and 11/14 conf call, changed name of "attr"
child element of CompareRequest to be "assertion".

5. Per Christine, added a footnote around our first use of xsi:type as a
union discriminator: "Note that as of this writing some popular XML
parsers fail to properly validate this usage of xsi:type. However, it
is explicitly allowed by XML Schema - see
http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/#union-datatypes."

6. Per James's 11/7 mail and 11/14 conf call, added note in section 1
for where to find errata. (Specific URL is still TBD.)

7. Re softening the tone of the DSMLv2-to-RFC2251 element naming analog,
draft11 states (section 2): "For the most part DSMLv2 is a systematic
translation of LDAP's ASN.1 grammar (defined by RFC 2251) into
XML-Schema. Thus, when a DSMLv2 element name matches an identifier in
LDAP's ASN.1 grammar, the named element means the same thing in DSMLv2
and in LDAP." This seems sufficiently soft to me -- if someone
disagrees and supplies replacement text, I will incorporate it.

8. STILL TO BE DONE: Fix the various broken intra-document links (e.g.,
"XML-Schema for control is here").

9. STILL TO BE DONE: Update the errata URL with the location we are
allocated. (Not yet allocated.)

10. STILL TO BE DONE: Update the VLV reference in the bibliography to
the newest submission. (Not yet out.)
