7. Core and Time-stamp profile.
7.1 Outstanding issues

Trevor stated that TimeStamp profile was stable. Last version posted March
26.

- It was tentatively decided that for ResultMajor handling of asynchronous
operations "Busy" and "Pending" would be used in place of "TryAgainLater".

- As it pertains to the outstanding issue on External Policy Authority
handling and any required signatures, it was decided that support for this
feature would not affect the core.

- Use of URLs versus URNs within the core was approved and closed.

- As it pertained to Karl Wouters list of recent consistency suggestions,
most were O.K. and will be accepted. There was a brief discussion
surrounding Karl's TimeStamp handling suggestion (i.e. wrap ds:Signature in
dss:XMLTimeStampToken, and reference to TstInfo ID). It was decided that the
wrapping would make it easier for conventional verifies to work and was a
good idea. Additionally it was decided that referencing into the TstInfo via
a fragment ID was also appropriate. Trevor to update as part of version 19
of core specification.

- Paul's "Profile Integration" document posted to site on March 31. Paul
re-iterated that there was no impact on the core specification.

- Nick posed the question of whether it was time to go to ballot and submit
a Committee Draft and cut a CD. Hal stated that 2/3 of voting members were
required to ratify and approve. It was decided that this would take place at
the next meeting on the 19th.

8. Discussion on profiles. Report on the status of the work for each of the
profiles.

- Code-signing

-1.0-profiles-eseal-spec-wd-02.doc

resolved but saw no problems.

- Policy wise server
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dss/download.php/6039/oasis-dss
-1.0-profiles-pws-spec-wd-02.doc
Paul stated that the profile was stable. He mentioned that the
PolicyAuthority signature handling would have to be included in the profile,
and also that identifiers would be required. Profile development concluding.

- XAdES
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dss/download.php/6206/oasis-dss
-1%5B1%5D.0-profiles-XAdES-spec-wd-02.doc
Juan Carlos reported that the 2nd version of the profile has been posted. He
is added the ability to request XAdES form types and has allowed support for
both the ASN.1-based 101733 and the XMLDSIG-based XAdES. He is awaiting
review and feedback. Profile progressing.

- German Signature Law
<http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dss/download.php/6023/oasis-ds

account the discussion on the XAdES profile.
