Monica,

The *concepts* are welldefined in the referenced legal conventions but 
not reflected directly in technical protocols such as ebBP, BPSS or 
neutral specs such as UMM.  What Im doing as an observer is that Im 
bringing them to your groups attention for consideration. The 
OfferAcceptance transaction is being discussed in UBAC and may make its 
way into BCF and UMM next year.

The US particiants can also have a look at UETA: UNIFORM ELECTRONIC  
TRANSACTIONS ACT (1999)
