Subject: RE: Are tools for forming a CPA from two CPPs available?
Kartha, For the Tokyo POC, Krishna Sankar of cisco merged CPPs to a CPA for a very earlier revision level of the CPP/CPA schemas. He released his java code showing how he formed a new DOM tree for the CPA from two CPPs. Basically I think the code presumed that the 2 component PartyInfo elements could just be put together and sandwiched into the other parts of the CPA tree. There might have been code to ensure that the IDs/IDREFs did not collide in the merge. But reading Krishna's code would show one way to manipulate the XML involved. A more general tool has not been released by anyone to my knowledge. I will see whether I can still locate Krishna's code, which I do remember looking at, but which I may have forgotten on some harddrive somewhere. Does anyone know whether tools are available for forming a CPA from two CPPs? Any pointers would be appreciated.
