Subject: Re: [ebxml-cppa] FW: CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: Review/Feedback ofRosettaNet Trading Par tner Agreement (TPA) Draft

Hello, Yukinori. I am happy to hear from you. Please see my comments
below.

Thus spoke Yukinori Saito (y-saito@ecom.jp) on Sat, Nov 17, 2001 at 02:04:47PM +0900:

At this moment, we have not defined any relationship between the two.
The TPA spec has been drafted by a group of RosettaNet partner
companies who analyzed their configuration needs, and have not tried
to express it electronically yet. Right now, it is all a legal
agreement on paper.

The next step in this development process is for me to start a
RosettaNet Program (a team of software architects), whose goal is to
produce a machine-sensible TPA. This electronic format must be able
to capture all the important software variables that this TPA draft
specification has identified, and they will likely find more
parameters that the TPA group has missed.

I am hoping that the ebXML CPP/A v1.1 can be the machine-processable
TPA specification that meets our needs. If so, we would produce a
usage guide for CPP/A that describes how it is to be used to implement
the RosettaNet TPA, and how it relates to all other portions of the
RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF).

See answer above. I would like to see convergence in this area.

What information do you think is needed? I am not sure what type of
info you are referring to here.

As always, your comments are greatly appreciated. Please let me know
if I can help discuss this further.
