Subject: [ebxml-cppa] FW: issue 148

Title: BPSS Teleconference Notes - Feb 19
Here is the BPSS side of the response on issue 148.

When Arvola submits the URN value for DUNs (under
the Oasis namespace branches) to use with
PartyId, this should resolve (for version 2.0 purposes)
the enumerated values documented by the specification.
Please indicate if this is not sufficient for the DUNS
standardization issue for ebXML for now.

We retain for the next major version (3.?), the question of
how and whether some URN resolution web service can
be used to augment registered enumerated values for
various type (or "qualifier")  fields, without producing
schema updates or specification revisions. We currently
have no plans to have an alert about this as a future
planned procedure. If you think there should be a warning
that this mechanism might emerge and that this
warning needs to be in version 2.0,
please indicate your interest in doing so now.

Thanks
Dale Moberg

The CPPA team can close the issue.  They should pick a reasonable URN for their example.
