Subject: RE: [egov] HK Govt XML Guide finalized
The HK guide is a great example of a government agency using broad, cross-industry voluntary consensus standards to establish public sector policy. As you read the guide, you may also want to look at some of the VCS source material - UBL Release 1.0, UBL Naming and Design Rules, and ebXML Core Components to name but three. We are also finalizing a comparable schema best practices document for the GSA that uses these same references, as well as the HK document, and contains similar approaches.
