Hi Rex & Co,

May I add something to the list?  In order to create useful services
on the web, the different actors should be properly authenticated.

In spite of a decade of talks about digital signatures and the existence
of digital signature laws in most countries, no party have so far taken
on the standardization of user-based signature-operations in a web
context.

I have on a voluntary basis initiated such an effort and have recently
signed-up a leading cryptographer (having contributed to numerous
standards), as a co-editor.
