Subject: RE: [egov] Internet Draft - URN Application
Thank you for making everyone aware of this document, and for your efforts. I would like to pose a few questions, in a completely neutral manner (i.e. I am not leaning in any one of whatever possible directions there might be for answers): (1) Did you by any chance review the August 2003 report posted on XML.gov on the topic of namespaces[1]? If so, what - if any - content within that report may have factored into your thought process in creating your Internet-Draft? (2) In [1], there is a reference to using both URNs and URLs - did you consider URLs at all in the process of creating your Internet-Draft?
