Subject: Re: [election-services] EUROPEAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS
I would suggest that IF we decide to go for a No 10 Petition we ensure that we engage with those authorities who have piloted internet and telephone voting and endeavour to get them to encourage electors in their areas to sign. We need to avoid attracting the criticism that it’s only those with vested interests, no matter how small, campaigning for this.

Is it worth starting a No 10 e-petition? It is only really worthwhile if there is a chance of publicising it.

Subject: [election-services] EUROPEAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONSThere is a growing campaign for some e-voting pilots to be run in next year's (2009) European Parliamentary Elections. Pressure is being put on certain MEPs and officials, and in addition a new Blog has been started at
I would suggest we should all join this campaign and press for EML to be used in any pilots that are run. Adding Comments to this Blog will be a good start.
