Please review these minutes of the RIM Subcommittee meeting of August 11th, 2011 for approval at our next meeting, subject to any specified changes. Thanks. -- Jeff Waters The document named DRAFT-08-11-11-Minutes-RIM-Subcommittee.doc (DRAFT-08-11-11-Minutes-RIM-Subcommittee.doc) has been submitted by Jeff Waters to the EM Reference Information Model SC document repository. Document Description: At the August 11th, 2011 meeting of the Reference Information Model subcommittee, the members discussed the following topics: 1. TOPIC: Can we develop an example of how to use the DE to enable smart routing? (Answer: Yes. Jeff provided an initial example that loads an ontology and infers the recipients for a DE-wrapped Hospital Availability message based on the specified role. The next step is to have a few other members consider this example and to draft a position paper explaining the goals of this work for educational purposes. ) 2. TOPIC: What do we need for a sandbox/testbed infrastructure to support testing and demonstration of our standards? (Answer: A variety of useful tools were mentioned, including Hadoop, Virtuoso, a Sparql front-end, the MITRE routing capability, and others. The recommendation is we review and consider integrating these tools. ) 3. TOPIC: What is the status of our common components? (Answer: We're awaiting a few updates to the schema and then we'll have the common components ready to approve and forward through the OASIS administrative process so they will be posted in the correct public place. ) View Document Details: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=43335 Download Document: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/43335/DRAFT-08-11-11-Minutes-RIM-Subcommittee.doc PLEASE NOTE: If the above links do not work for you, your email application may be breaking the link into two pieces.
