Subject: RE: [emergency] Fwd: OASIS EM TC Category for EDXL standards


In short - absolutely.  Paul Embly and I have raised this to the DM.  The
document should not have been released and the subsequent one will be MUCH
different.  I don't even know who the author was of the one that went out
and the majority of the DM never saw it.  It has been called back as of late
yesterday.  

Thank you for you insightful input though - all will be incorporated.

Might the promulgation and ongoing maintenance of a recommended  
standards profile fall within the scope of NIEM?  Could the grant  
language simply reference such a listing?
