An important strength of the EMIX information model is that it technology agnostic.  EMIX can treat storage in an EV the same way it treats distributed stationary storage or cooling and heating of a building. Please see my response to EMIX 499 on storage. If actionable prices as tenders to buy and sell are clearly communicated to EVs and other distributed devices, autonomous systems can manage charging and discharging within in the constraints of the device and with the expressed preference of the owner. EMIX communicates such prices clearly and dynamically which will enable distribution operators, transmission operators and market operators to interact with EVs and other distributed assets to increase efficiency, manage congestion and integrate more variable renewables.

I recommend this issue be closed.
