Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (ENERGYINTEROP-691) More complex than TEMIX

Comments in line in ALL CAPS.

15. The Proposal does not simplify TEMIX as claimed. Most, if not all, of the claimed benefits of the Proposal, are provided by TEMIX.

CTS LIMITS THE COMPLEXITY OF EMIX, PROVIDING A SEMANTICALLY IDENTICAL BUT EASIER TO INTEGRATE APPROACH FOR MODERN SYSTEMS. CTS ALSO WORKS WELL WITH MODERN FINANCIAL MARKETS.

The Proposalâs messages are not simpler than TEMIX messages and are likely incompatible (the messages are not yet published).

UNCLEAR. THE TEMIX PROFILE MESSAGES AND CTS ARE PUBLISHED. PLEASE SUPPLY MESSAGES REFERENCED VIA COMMENTS LIST

TEMIX, as it stands, is fully capable of providing transactive services in any market, although its documentation in EMIX and EI could be âcleaned upâ in a new standalone TEMIX profile of these standards. Hence the Proposal only adds confusion to the detriment of Transactive Energy progress

COMPLEXITY OF THE UNDERLYING EMIX TYPES AND SCHEMAS HAS BEEN A BARRIER TO ADOPTION OF THE EARLIER SPECIFICATIONS. AS OBSERVED ELSEWHERE (EITRANSACTION) THE DEFINITIONS MAKE EXPENSIVE NETWORK CAPABILITY ASSUMPTIONS.
