The TC’s Charter sets a goal of generating a Public Draft by mid-June (the greater goal being to garner high degree of public input). To this end, the TC voted today to establish two sub-committees:

•       Specification Editing Sub-committee (Phase I of Charter)

•       Metadata Vocab Sub-committee (Phase II of Charter)

 

These sub-committees will do their work weekly and submit their recommendations to the TC.  TC meetings will focus on combining the work of both phases and final decision making.  TC meetings will continue on the 1^st and 3^rd Mondays each month.  Zack and Jennifer will work with the respective sub-committees to get the sub-committee meetings scheduled and identify the leadership of each.

 

ACTION:  Please email Jennifer at jalpert@carelex.org to indicate which sub-committee(s) you want to join.  (Agard, O’Keefe, Ross have already replied. Thanks.)
