2. Revisions of committee specification draft (draft preview to be provided before the Meeting)

Eric summarized the narratives added to the draft.

3. Discuss UML source (Java POJO classes) for specification deliverable

Patrick raised the issues with copyright declaration in the POJO source. Eric sent a note to OASIS Staff for advice.

4. Discuss RDF ontology for specification deliverable

Laura raised an issue with using namespace URI’s in OASIS domain. The ontology namespaces have to be de-reference-able so that we can provide descriptions for the classes and properties. Eric sent s note to OASIS staff for help with binding URI’s to resource description documents.

Peter Yim suggested uploading the RDF ontology to the OOR sandbox for now - http://sandbox.oor.net/. Also see http://sandbox.oor.net/ontologies. OOR is hosting ontologies more general while BioPortal dedicate to biological ontologies. There will be federation of multiple portals.

Patrick referred to OASIS Namespaces guide http://docs.oasis-open.org/specGuidelines/namingGuidelines/resourceNaming.html. See the section XML Namespace Design, Allocation, and Management. In particular, the fourth bullet point.

Deirdre said Neologism installation at vocab.deri.ie can also host the ontology.
