Use Cases Discussion * Bank of America - Dominique (http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/id-cloud/201101/doc00005.doc) Dominique Nguyen: - Financial Institutions looking at the usage of mobile phones for banking. - Using mobile phones to confirm a transaction. For this the owner of the device should be authenticated. - Use software as a service for mobile computing, where the consumer authentication can actually be stored at the service provider and when initiating a transaction they can authenticate using their device from the service provider. - Single Sign On from mobile phones and strong (two-factor) authentication are relevant themes within this topic. Peter Brown: Suggests Austrian example on mobile banking. David Turner: Issue is not at the technology level. Peter Brown: As a suggestion look at EU cross-border projects for interesting thoughts on this. ---------------------------------------- 4.
