Subject: Groups - Use Case Categories Normalization Exercise (Use Case Categorization Normalization Exercise 2011-05-16.doc) modified
As you may have seen via email notification from OASIS IDCloud lists, I just uploaded the "Use Case Categories Normalization Exercise" MS Word document: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/id-cloud/members/upload.php Where all the values for these 3 categories have been compiled. At the top I toyed with the idea to use the following structure/pattern for "actors": <resource deployment context> | <resource context> | <role context> We can discuss this on phone and see if it works in most cases. Also, there might be a similar pattern for "Notable Services" such as: <service deployment context> | <identity or other agreed upon service name> | Service Systems are more difficult, and as you can see, there are some values that are listed as actors, services and systems. At least we should agree that Actors should reflect "human" roles and Services should granular (well defined) "non-human" roles whereas systems are larger "black box" entities. All of which SHOULD be used as part of the process flows explicitly where possible. -- Mr. Matthew Rutkowski Information about the document named Use Case Categories Normalization Exercise (Use Case Categorization Normalization Exercise 2011-05-16.doc) has been modified by Mr. Matthew Rutkowski.
