Subject: Time Sensitive Request--XSTF requests additional feedback on two issues forGJXDM

Dear Electronic Filing TC Members:
The attached urgent request comes from the group working on the JXDD. I
know that all of you are terribly busy, but deadlines prevent any more time
to look at these topics.
If you have any issues with the subjects being considered, please at least
drop me a brief note, so I can pass it on. I will be out of touch on
Monday, so will look for comments and forward them on to GTRI on Monday
night.
Thanks in advance, and thanks to those of you who have commented in the
past.

Subject: XSTF requests additional feedback on two issues for GJXDM

Request responses no later than close of business Mon 20 October.
We apologize for the short suspense, however
we are up against a number of critical dates
and issues with the availability of personnel.

After GTRI interviews and discussion with 18 consultants,
engineers, contractors, and Government implementors,
on Friday 17 October, the XML Structure Task Force
(XSTF) met to discuss and decide a number of structural
issues regarding the Global Justice XML Data Model
(GJXDM), Dictionary, and Release Candidate 1 (RC1).
All issues have been decided. However, the XSTF
believes that additional feedback on two issues
may be beneficial before confirming a final decision
on them. The issues are related to implementation of

(1) References (ID and IDREF)
http://justicexml.gtri.gatech.edu/render/#N10153
(2) Secondary relationships
http://justicexml.gtri.gatech.edu/render/#N1018B

The XSTF is especially interested in feedback
from implementers.

Also attached to this mailing is a copy of Bug Report
#93 from the GJXDM Feedback site that details problems
with references (thus, thus the reason we have
proposed to modify and constrain how they are
implemented and used).

We are interested in opinions, problems, or
concerns with the implementation of both references
and secondary relationships as described in the
references above.

Thank you,
The XSTF
