Subject: RE: [legalxml-courtfiling] Requirements Subcommittee

Jim – I expect that this will be the last meeting of the requirements subcommittee.  Its sole purpose was to prepare recommendations for the TC for the requirements for Court Filing Blue.

The subcommittee will post its report on the general TC list as soon as possible following today’s meeting.

You can access all the material that the subcommittee has prepared and used in its deliberations by going to the wiki whose address was posted to the list a couple of weeks ago.  I believe that Robin posted the wiki address to the OASIS website as well.

The subcommittee’s report will be the principal topic of discussion at the face to face meeting in Las Vegas

I encourage all TC members – not just those who do not plan to be in Las Vegas – to comment on the subcommittee report on the list prior to the meeting.  To the extent that we can identify all issues and concerns of all TC members for discussion in Las Vegas, we will make the Las Vegas face to face meeting maximally productive.

Subject: [legalxml-courtfiling] Requirements Subcommittee

John et al.,

I noticed from todays email that there is a meeting today for the requirements subcommittee. This made me wonder about a few things. First off, what are the requirements and process for joining the subcommittee. I would be interested in knowing what's going on with the subcommittee, and possibly interested in participating in the subcommittee's activities. In regards to my interest in the current happenings of the subcommittee I would like to know if there is some sort of mailing list that the subcommittee is using. I'm assuming their meetings get organized somehow! I would definitely be interested in following any discussions about Blue.

Thanks!

Jim

OASIS has selected Eric Tingom of eCorridor in Phoenix, AZ as the consultant for the LegalXML Member Section.  His first duty will be to assist the Electronic Court Filing TC with Court Filing Blue.  He is attending the meeting of the Requirements Subcommittee in Seattle today.

I look forward to working with Mr. Tingom.  We will all get a chance to meet him in Las Vegas.
