From Yahoo News, "EU Pushing Toward Shared Police Database" By Constant Brand, Viewed January 15th 2007 Already seven countries have been sharing police records: (genetic records, fingerprints and traffic offenses) in each others databases. It is anticipated that a total of twenty-seven European Governments will be donig this as well. The cost of doing the sharing has turned out to be lower than expected. Germany spent 1.3 million dollars "to open its databases" to the six other countries. I was unable to find any mention of the Global Justice XML Data Model or even XML in general in this article.
