1.       Future calls will continue to be held every other Thursday 4:00 Eastern (Feb 6, Feb 20, …)

a.       The February 6 call will focus on tools to help educate buyers on how to add certification language to solicitations (specifying the correct conformance classes, etc.)

2.       General News

                                                               i.      Springboard Conformance Package (cookbook for engineers) can be downloaded from the Dropbox link

1.       Includes soapUI ECF project files from Test Harness (which a participant can use to build the appropriate testing capability in their own lab)

ii.      The QA Review of the ECF specs can also be downloaded

d.      Springboard ECF Conformance testing queue has been opened to the public

                                                               i.      Suggested mode of engagement: contact Scott to set up a one-hour educational call

                                                           iv.      Integrate into your environment

1.       Recommend acquiring at least the open source version of soapUI (since this is the tool used in the Springboard Test Harness)

2.       The proprietary version could be useful for developing one’s own customized tests or reports

                                                             v.      Run connectivity tests

1.       All the Springboard ECF soapUI projects will be made available to participants who wish to bootstrap a soapUI ECF implementation locally

                                                          vii.      License the certification mark

c.       Revised soapUI ECF test harness project structure: 2 areas will be created within the soapUI test harness

                                                               i.      One structure for the 4 required transactions (ReviewFiling, RecordFiling, NotifyDocketingComplete, NotifyReviewFilingComplete)

ii.      Must pass all tests (GREEN) to claim conformance to a particular MDE / Case Type pair

iii.      The other soapUI structure will be for the other 9 optional transaction and all other options within the ECF specification (MAY and SHALL)

1.       When a participant runs this test suite, it may fail some tests (RED) yet still be able to claim conformance against any passed tests (GREEN)
