To help you know the candidates, OASIS will be posting questions to the candidates on behalf of our members. Send your questions to nominations@oasis-open.org. We will compile the questions and send a representative sample to the candidates. As a compilation, the questions will not be identified as coming from any specific members. No questions will be accepted after 11 June. http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/members/200305/msg00017.html --------------------------------------------------------------------- UN/CEFACT Plenary Endorses Seven ebXML Specifications OASIS and UN/CEFACT announced that the latest completed versions of ebXML specifications have been endorsed by the 2003 Plenary session of UN/CEFACT meeting in Geneva. The United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business endorsed the adoption of ebXML global standards for exchanging business messages, establishing trading relationships, communicating data in common terms and defining and registering business processes. http://www.ebxml.org/news/pr_20030603.htm --------------------------------------------------------------------- OASIS and RosettaNet Collaborate on Business Standards OASIS and RosettaNet have formalized plans for a coordinated approach to standards development and implementation that will streamline business-to-business (B2B) integration practices for global supply chain companies. The new alliance leverages the supply chain expertise of RosettaNet with the broad, interoperability focus of OASIS. http://www.oasis-open.org/news/oasis_news_06_03_03a.php --------------------------------------------------------------------- Public Review Period for the SPML V1.0 Spec Began 5 June OASIS Provisioning Services Technical Committee (PSTC) voted on 1 June to advance SPML V1.0 spec to Committee Specification status, and to begin a public review of the specification. The review period began on 5 June and closes 5 July.
