Subject: Announcing the TC Administration Home Page - the central support location for TC work at OASIS
Chairs & OASIS TC members, I am pleased to announce a new resource to help make working in OASIS easier and more successful: the TC Administration home page. You can access the home page from the Resources menu on the OASIS horizontal nav bar [1] or by going to http://www.oasis-open.org/resources/tcadmin. The TC Admin home page is intended to be your one-stop-shopping location for everything you need in order to work successfully at OASIS. Here is an overview of its parts [2]: - Policies: Link you to all the official documents that govern a TC’s work at OASIS. - Guidelines and Best Practices: Over the next few weeks, the TC Handbook 'How-to' guide will be populated with sections explaining how the policies outlined in the OASIS TC Process are put into day-to-day practice. It will give you step-by-step instructions for how to carry out the tasks involved in advancing your working drafts to final OASIS Deliverables. In addition, guidelines and best practice documents will provide advice on how to best accomplish specific goals. - Tools for TCs: The tickets for TC support tasks are directly available under TC Support Request Forms. Other materials will be added to help make interactions with TC Admin easier. - News and Announcements: TC Admin announcements and communiques with member will appear here and the 'more' link will take you to a full listing. - Find OASIS Standards, Specifications and Notes: Search approved work products and OASIS Deliverables in the OASIS Library at docs.oasis-open.org with this Google search box. - TC Request Status: Links you to the list of open tickets in the TC Admin queue. See at a glance where your request stands. - TC Admin Performance: Get up-to-date information on TC Admin's average turnaround time for requests to help you plan your schedule. We'll continue to flesh out the content over the weeks ahead. If there is information you would find particularly useful, click on the 'Contact TC Admin' link at the lower left of the page and let us know. Our goal is to populate this section with material that helps you to succeed.
