OASIS members,
The
ISO Audit Data Collection Project Committee (ISO/PC 295) is bringing together countries from around the world to develop an international standard that will define how auditors can obtain accounting data. Under the leadership of China, the group will identify format and content requirements for accounting data elements and data interface output files.
If you represent a US-based organization or work for a US branch office of an organization authorized to do business in the US, you are invited to participate in the US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO/PC 295. (If you are based outside the US and would like to participate in
ISO/PC 295, contact your country's representative body in ISO.)
The US TAG will be administered by ANSI as part of a strategic partnership with OASIS. Current TAG participants include AICPA, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Microsoft, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and XBRL. Additional companies, government agencies, and associations are welcome in the TAG.
While the US TAG is not funded by OASIS membership dues, qualified OASIS
Sponsor members are eligible for a $4,000 discount off TAG participation
fees. Contact me for details.
US TAG Timeline:Aug 18: US TAG planning call
Oct 13: US TAG F2F meeting, New York City
Nov 2-4: ISO/PC 295 first meeting, Beijing
Best regards,
Carol
