Each year we recognize a member or members who have made extraordinary contributions to the OASIS world of standards and open source development. We are lucky to have a robust, active, and very smart membership whoÂhave contributed so much to makeÂOASIS successful. Among all that hard work we know there are members whose contributions are outstanding. Some are already identified asÂDistinguishedÂContributors, some are waiting for your nomination.
So, please take a momentÂto review the qualifications and list ofÂexistingÂDistinguishedÂContributorsÂ[1] and nominate someone youÂbelieve should receive the honor. Send your nomination and a briefÂmessage describing their qualifications toÂme, by 1 December 2023.
TheÂDistinguishedÂContributorÂAward(s) will be presented at the OASIS Awards Ceremony in January 2024. Details on the virtual event to follow.ÂÂ
