Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OBIX-14) Section 2, Line 115 - "Child" has not been used up to this point in the document, and is used in line 115 without any explanation.
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OBIX-14?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=34515#action_34515 ] Craig Gemmill commented on OBIX-14: ------------------------------------ I am pretty sure the term 'child' has a fairly universally understood semantic. I think that would be intuitive. However, standardizing the choice of either 'sub-object' or 'child' would be helpful, or perhaps we could just state their equivalence. > Section 2, Line 115 - "Child" has not been used up to this point in the document, and is used in line 115 without any explanation. > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OBIX-14 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OBIX-14 > Project: OASIS Open Building Information Exchange (oBIX) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Components: OBIX 1.1 Specification > Affects Versions: oBIX PR01 > Environment: Ludo Bertsch, Horizon Technologies Inc. (250) 592-1488 > Representing CABA (Continental Automated Buildings Association) > Reporter: Toby Considine > Assignee: Toby Considine > > It is not clear what the relationship is between object, sub-object and child. This should be clearly described, and if possible standardized throughout the document (e.g. when to use sub-object or child). -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
