Subject: Re: [odf-adoption] opendocsociety, book on ODF solutions

Bart,

I'll poke around my IBM resources...sounds worthwhile, but I'll need to have someone on our end support the effort. Give me a month or so.

best,

Subject: [odf-adoption] opendocsociety, book on ODF solutions

Hello,

A month ago, the OpenDoc Society published a new edition of their
180-page e-book on ODF called "Handboek Oplossingen met ODF"
(which roughly translates into "A guide to solutions with ODF")
http://be.opendocsociety.org/Publicaties

It's not an openoffice manual, nor a technical guide for that matter,
but it's an interesting read on ODF-products in general. It contains
quite a few chapters on ODF and accessibility tools, a business case
checklist, and some hints on migrating to ODF.

It's written in Dutch, since it was sponsored by the Dutch department of
Economic Affairs. Now, the Belgian authorities might be interested in
sponsoring a French translation, but it would be nice if some company or
government could provide the funding for a German, English...edition.

Any suggestions on whom to contact / who might be interested ? Thanks.

Best regards,

Bart
