2 TC meeting below.
1.) Logistics

- Determination of quorum status
A quorum was achieved.
- Approval of minutes from May 19, 2009 TC meeting was achieved by
concensus.

- Acceptance of today's agenda
- No additional items were added. The
proposed agenda was accepted by concensus.
2.) Review, TC Action Item plan: http://wiki.oasis-open.org/odf-adoption/OdfAdoptionTcActionItems

The TC membership discuss the Action Items beginning with the Google map
project. Marino and Rob agreed to complete this together.
3.) ODF Interoperability Event at The Hague - Bart Hanssens
Bart was unable to attend. Rob gave
an overview. It is still not clear who the final attendees will be. Rob
indicated that progress was being made on preparations for the technical
portion, the ODF plug-fest activities. Presentations will be brief.
Other events discussed included COSEGI
in Brasilia - Marino updated the TC saying it was not clear if there would
be a special ODF event or not for August 26 - 28. Discussions are ongoing.
Don informed the TC that his abstract
for a presentation on ODF 1.2 was accepted for LinuxCON in Portland, Oregon,
Sept. 21 - 23.
The TC discussed the ODF day being organized
by the hosts of OpenOffice.org Conference 2009 in Orvieto, Italy.
3a) OASIS Communication Plan to support? - Carol Geyer
The TC agreed to use the http://opendocument.xml.org
site more frequently to promote events, and post collaterals for the public.
Carol Geyer urged the TC members to take and post (1) item per week, ensuring
fresh content in this manner.
3b) ODF Interoperability Education
Carol proposed an OASIS scholarship, and will investigate.
4.) OpenOffice.org Conference - Louis
4a) ODF Interoperability Day - Rob, Bart
The TC agreed to offer to manage this
'event within the conference' on behalf of our different role in OASIS.
The OIC TC is making good progress and will directly participate and lead
this event in early November.
The TC discussed the new OASIS Interop
Demo policy. It was agreed to focus on end-of-year or early 2010 for a
formal 'ODF Interoperability Demo', which will require the participation
of (3) ODF implementations.
5.) ODF News / Round Table -- All
During the round table, Louis expressed
concern that the TC membership needs to focus on its deliverables.
Peter Junge raised the topic of the
UOF TC, and stated that Red Office is aligning ODF to UOF.
