Subject: Re: [office-comment] Separating OpenFormula from (the rest of) ODF 1.2
Dennis, Rob, thank you for your responses. I am glad to hear, that the asynchronous were only to be applied in the review phases and that the entire ODF 1.2 sent for approval will be all three parts. I do hope, as Paul, that there will be a "normal" review period for the entire standard as it is being finalized. -- Jesper Lund Stocholm www.idippedut.dk SC34/WG4 http://www.itscj.ipsj.or.jp/sc34/wg4/ 2009/5/11 <robert_weir@us.ibm.com>: > Jesper Lund Stocholm <4a4553504552@gmail.com> wrote on 05/11/2009 03:40:38 > PM: > >> Dear ODF TC, >> >> While reading Doug Mahugh's blog post about ODF Spreadsheet interop, I >> noticed this sentence: >> >> "According to recent discussions in the ODF TC, we may send the other >> parts of ODF 1.2 out for public review first, to allow more time to >> finish up Open Formula" >> >> http://blogs.msdn.com/dmahugh/archive/2009/05/05/odf-spreadsheet- >> interoperability.aspx >> >> I have been digging through the meeting minutes from your TC >> Coordination call minutes, but I haven't been able to find further >> information in those to verify this nor provide addtional information >> to the reasoning behind this decision. >> >> Can you confirm that you are actively considering this approach? >> > > Yes, this is true. > >> If this is so, I'd strongly encourage you to reconsider this.
