Subject: Groups - OpenDocument Formula Specification 2008-05-16 (ODT) (OpenDocument-formula-20080516.odt) uploaded

* Added annotation from Michael Brauer's email of 2008-05-16, noting other
specifications that use namespace prefixes inside attribute values. This
should help eliminate the confusion that this approach was somehow
unique.
* Modified the introduction to clarify some key differences in the formula
specification, compared to some other specifications, explaining why this
one is needed.
* Eliminated a TODO in PROPER, by clarifying in the specification what the
"beginning" of a word was. Tweaked PROPER, UPPER, and LOWER, to clarify
that all will guarantee that A-Z is uppercase and a-z is lowercase, no
matter what the locale, but for some characters, it depends on the locale.
Sorry, that's the way Unicode/ISO 10646 (and life) really are.

The document revision named OpenDocument Formula Specification 2008-05-16
(ODT) (OpenDocument-formula-20080516.odt) has been submitted by David
Wheeler to the OpenDocument - Formula document repository. This document
is revision #63 of openformula-spec-20060221.odt.

Document Description:
OpenFormula is an open format for exchanging recalculated formulas between
office application implementations, particularly for spreadsheets.
OpenFormula defines the types, syntax, and semantics for calculated
formulas, including many predefined functions and operations, so that
formulas can be exchanged between applications and produce substantively
equal outputs when recalculated with equal inputs. Both closed and open
source software can implement OpenFormula.

OpenFormula is intended to be a supporting document to the Open Document
Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) format, particularly for
defining its attributes table:formula and text:formula. It can be used in
other circumstances where a simple, easy-to-read infix notation is desired
for exchanging recalculated formulas.
