I could imagine, for example, other ways to do the same thing. I think for example that MS has an example where this data is done using fields and separate metadata. I imagine the user experience there would be something like: insert field "contact" choose contact item select ... and the content is automatically rendered. A very different mechanism to achieve something quite similar. But in any case, we do need a requirement to clarify all this. I'll move the new combined document to the wiki over the weekend. Bruce
