Then you're effectively shutting yourself out of any productive 
conversation. The constant uninformed impulse to conspiracy theory is 
annoying and unproductive.

Do you really think those of us who have spent the past 18 months 
working on this proposal (as opposed to taking pot shots from the 
side-lines) don't care enough about the details to get this right?
