Action Items ------------ - none open - Lars: clarify mimetype registration with OASIS staff contact - ongoing Gary: contact OOo about logo - done, waiting for response Michael: ask OASIS to take OpenDocument Spec. to ISO - done, waiting for OASIS Status of OpenDocument specification ------------------------------------ - no new status - Proposals --------- Database Application Format: David forwarded a number of questions from the Kexi (KOffice's database app) regarding the database format proposal. Lars will address those together with the OpenOffice developers. In general, it was not yet clear, whether the format in it's proposed form would enable real interoperability between applications. Discussion on this will continue. General Discussion ------------------ The underline issue brought up by David seems to be a bug in OpenOffice's implementation. Duane gave a short overview of Adobe's XMP metadata technology. He will give a more in-depth overwiev on how it could be useful as an addition to OpenDocuemnts meta data model after returning from JavaONE.
