Subject: FW: [office-formula] Groups - OpenFormula Specification 2006-02-21 (ODT) (openformula-spec-20060221.odt) uploaded

I'm forwarding David's message to the office-formula list as only those who are actually on the subcommittee roster will have
received it.

Regards,

Mary

Subject: [office-formula] Groups - OpenFormula Specification 2006-02-21 (ODT) (openformula-spec-20060221.odt) uploaded

I've submitted the current version of the OpenFormula specification to the OASIS OpenDocument TC. Reminder: The OpenDocument TC is
under NO obligation to use OpenFormula as a base document. One of the decisions the subcommittee will make is to determine what to
do with this document, if anything.

 -- Mr. David Wheeler

The document named OpenFormula Specification 2006-02-21 (ODT)
(openformula-spec-20060221.odt) has been submitted by Mr. David Wheeler to the OpenDocument - Formula document repository.

Document Description:
OpenFormula is an open format for exchanging recalculated formulas between office application implementations, particularly for
spreadsheets.
OpenFormula defines the types, syntax, and semantics for calculated formulas, including many predefined functions and operations, so
that formulas can be exchanged between applications and produce substantively equal outputs when recalculated with equal inputs.
Both closed and open source software can implement OpenFormula.

OpenFormula is intended to be a supporting document to the Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) format,
particularly for defining its attributes table:formula and text:formula. It can be used in other circumstances where a simple,
easy-to-read infix notation is desired for exchanging recalculated formulas.
