Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-1640) Editor Note: Section17.277 form:filter
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1640?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11468#action_11468 ] Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-1640: ----------------------------------------- Good point, applied with some changes: form:apply-filter The form:apply-filter attribute specifies whether or not the filter clause specified by the form:filter attribute is applied to the SQL command constituting the form's result set. 18.277 Then under form:filter: The filter is only applied if the form:apply-filter attribute has the value true. 18.255 Note: This allows OpenDocument applications to toggle a filter on and off without loosing the content of the form:filter attribute. I added the cross-references for ease of reference. > Editor Note: Section 17.277 form:filter > --------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-1640 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-1640 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 > Reporter: Robert Weir > Assignee: Patrick Durusau > Priority: Blocker > Fix For: ODF 1.2 > > > Transcribed from ODF_Revised_Editorial_Notes_27May2009.odt > Original author: Patrick Durusau > Section 17.277 form:filter > Ed. Note There is a relationship between form:filter and form: command that I have been unable to find. It may exist but I can't find it. Or is it presumed that there is only one form:command attribute per form and so there can be only one form:filter attribute as well? That seems like it needs to have some explicit linkage. Note that I deleted: "The form:apply-filter attribute specifies whether or not the filter is actually applies to the command." by amending the language under form:apply-filter to include command. > Ed. Note Ah, ok, all these attributes are in the same form and so the relationship is implied. But we never say that is the case. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
