This is Public Comment Registry #265. It also appears as OFFICE-1006 and OFFICE-893
It duplicates Public Comment Registry #219
This defect occurs in ODF 1.0 through ODF 1.1
The schema for ODF 1.1 and earlier provided "-1" as the default value for the optional table:used-hierarchy attribute.
In ODF 1.2 Part 1 cd02 section 17.747, the statement with the omission has been removed and not replaced. The statement should be restored to the text, with the recommended correction.
There is an editorial item on the fact that the presence of any other value for this attribute is implementation-defined ("specified by an external component"). The JIRA issue for this Editors Note does not show up in any obvious searches.
