Subject: Comments on draft response
Greetings! I started to respond to some of the post on the comments on the *draft* response to N1078 but decided that I shouldn't single any particular comment out for this response. I am not real sure what was unclear that this was a *draft* response that treated the substance of the comments. Instead, apparently there is a lot of concern over format (same or different), cover sheets, etc. All matters that are easy enough to correct *once we agree on substantive answers.* That was why I filed such a rough copy with the JIRA links so that the *substance* of the suggested responses could be evaluated. But that would require reading the draft response earlier than the morning of the meeting where it would be discussed. And having comments that address the *substance* of those proposed responses. I don't doubt some of them may be *wrong.* It wasn't my intent for any of them to be wrong but I don't doubt that some of them may be. That is where I really need help from the TC in reviewing the substance of the responses. I should have time in the morning to review some of the format "issues" in the morning but suspect it will be tomorrow evening before I can file another version of the document. Hope everyone is having a great day!
