Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2517) 19.798.8<text:template-name>, text:display area

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2517?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=18467#action_18467 ]

Patrick Durusau commented on OFFICE-2517:
-----------------------------------------

Oliver, when you say:

"By "area" is meant the application area of the document template.
Examples for such application areas of document templates are:
- Business correspondence
- Private letters "

Do you mean the area in a document template where the user would enter content?

In other words, with the value "area," the user is shown both the pre-composed content (if any) and has the opportunity to enter their own content?

If you agree, I would suggest:

area: The pre-composed content of the document template where user content may be entered.

Using the term "pre-composed" to indicate the content of a template that is fixed and displayed with each invocation of the template.
