Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (OFFICE-2740) Needs discussion: 5.5Unary Prefix/Postfix operators

Needs discussion: 5.5 Unary Prefix/Postfix operators

                 Key: OFFICE-2740
                 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2740
Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: OpenFormula
Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 05
            Reporter: Eric Patterson

In the comments about the percentage(%) unary postfix operator, it says:

Postfix unary operator % (divide by 100). Note that this is legal with expressions (e.g., [.B1]%), it can be duplicated (1%%), and it does not change the meaning of other operations such as "+".

How is duplicating the operator (1%%) defined?

Also, for the prefix operators (+,-), there is no mention of duplicating the operators, is this allowed, defined?
