This post is a comment on OFFICE-1816 and how its resolution has been reached and applied in OpenDocument-v1.0-errata-cd04-rev03-editor-revision.odt (note correction of the filename).

The commenter is correct in that we have agreed not to use "implementation dependent" without reflecting that in the text of the document as part of the erratum.

This objectionable reason for no action without an erratum is also used with N1078:27 (OFFICE-1818) and N1078:29 (OFFICE-1820).

Proposed Actions:

  1. We should make sure this particular comment is reflected in OFFICE-1816, closing this additional JIRA issue.

  2. We should make sure there is similar review on behalf of N1078:27 and N1078:29.
