Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-2829) 19.626 for example -Note formatting example

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2829?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=19506#action_19506 ]

Dennis Hamilton commented on OFFICE-2829:

Also, in the case where Notes are sentences in non-note paragraphs, it looks like we need to pull them out into indented paragraphs in the Notes style.

This adjustment also applies to Parts 2 and 3.

> 19.626 for example - Note formatting example
> --------------------------------------------
> Key: OFFICE-2829
> URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-2829
> Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 Part 1 CD 5
> Reporter: Patrick Durusau
> Priority: Blocker
> Fix For: ODF 1.2 Part 1 CD 5
> Looking at the Note in 19.626, it becomes apparent that the extent of notes cannot easily be determined.
> Part 2 of the ISO Directives says:
> "In drafts, all lines of a note or example shall be inset from the margin or shall be set in smaller
> type, so that its extent can be determined."
> I think we have carefully marked all notes with the note style so before the next draft, the note style needs to be modified to indent one tab space. I would not suggest reducing the font size.
