Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3351) 20.160draw:stroke-dash-names

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3351?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=21754#action_21754 ]

Michael Brauer commented on OFFICE-3351:

Andreas: Since you first proposed to remove the attribute I believed that a deprecation would also work for you. Since no one seems to have ever implemented that attribute, it is rather unlikely that it will occur in any documents.

Anyway, we may of course amend the description by what we know from the original proposal at:

Suggestion: We add:

For each dash style referenced by the attribute a stroke using that dash style is drawn on top of the existing stroke.

I will add this to the resolution.

I anyway think we should still deprecate the attribute, so that it can be removed later. If even those who have proposed the attribute think it could be removed, which should we keep it?

Like for all other resolved needs discussion issues I suggest that we remove the needs-discussion flag from this issue if neither you nor anyone else object to the refined resolution within one week.

> 20.160 draw:stroke-dash-names states:
> "The draw:stroke-dash-names attribute specifies a list of dash styles that are used for the stroke in addition to the dash specified by the draw:stroke-dash attribute."
> It is completely unclear how these additional dash styles are supposed to affect the stroke.
