Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3351) 20.160draw:stroke-dash-names

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3351?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=21770#action_21770 ]

Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-3351:

I work on the premise tat anything that is not properly defined should not be in ODF. The amended description makes this a useful feature and I thin kwe should not deprecate it. It is not surprising that in the past nobody used this attribute since it was undefined. (THe link you posted does not talk about multiple dash styles on teh same stroke either but about multiple strokes or fills).

So I think we should _not_ deprecate this but add the description you suggested.

> 20.160 draw:stroke-dash-names states:
> "The draw:stroke-dash-names attribute specifies a list of dash styles that are used for the stroke in addition to the dash specified by the draw:stroke-dash attribute."
> It is completely unclear how these additional dash styles are supposed to affect the stroke.
