Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3356) Public Comment:Please standardize "Line Start Prohibition Rule"

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3356?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=21973#action_21973 ]

Michael Brauer commented on OFFICE-3356:
----------------------------------------

I agree to Andreas that inserting control characters that have an impact on the layout and the line end characters we are talking about here are completely different things, and that it would not be reasonable that a producer add such Unicode characters. This could not be differed from characters the user inserted, and would break ODFs usability as a format that can be edited.

I think we should really keep the discussion focused on what is requested in the issue.
