Greetings! Greetings! Below you find a draft agenda for our TC call on Monday, 2019-10-28 Time: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meetingdetails.html?year=2019&month=10&day=28&hour=16&min=0&sec=0&p1=25&p2=37 The call counts towards voter eligibility. Teleconference Numbers Canada - (use US number) Denmark - +45 78 77 25 34 Germany - +49 30 255550324 Hungary - +36 1 987 6874 The Netherlands - +31 6 35205016 USA - +1 712 770 5505 Access code (for all numbers): 438-387 Chat room for meeting is at: http://webconf.soaphub.org/conf/room/odf Please send comments to the mailing list. Agenda ------ 1. Dial-In, Roll Call, Determination of Quorum and Voting Rights 2. Motion (simple majority): Approve the Agenda 3. Motion (simple majority): Approve minutes of 07 October 2019 (below) 4. Yes! ODF 1.3 has only one comment filed: https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/201909/msg00001.html On an issue we deliberately did not resolve. Which means we must wait 7 days to commence a vote to approve the Committee Specification. https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process-2017-05-26#committeeSpec Last day of the public review was 25 October, so 7 days ends on November 1, 2019, making November 2, 2019, a Saturday the first day to start the Special Majority Vote to approve as a Committee specification. Special Majority vote is at least 2/3 vote yes and less than 1/4 vote no, conducted by electronic ballot. I suspect that will mean 4 November 2019 until midnight 11 November but will confirm with the TC Admin. 5. Steps beyond the Committee specification that we can begin to prepare. 6. Adjournment ************************* Minutes of ODF meeting 07 October 2019 Patrick: Quorum - yes Patrick: Changes to agenda? - consent to agenda Patrick: Minutes of 30 September 2019 - consent to approval of minutes of 30 September 2019 Patrick: XHTML export - Michael posted - other trials? Patrick: Michael - reports he gets the cross-ref links Patrick: Patrick will report new export results to TC Admin Patrick: 5. Formatting versus of extraction of default data values - Patrick: Michael will continue to try to contact Savante on this issue. Patrick: Regina - XHTML - problem - formulas all as pictures in ODF 1.2 - not all browsers can show MathML - Google Chrome for example - vector a b - shows a and b but not the arrow - there is a server side javascript that shows MathML as picture, using PNG would be the safe thing - in every browser. Patrick: Think about ways to get .gif or .png versions of the formulas for the HTML version. Regina Henschel: https://www.mathjax.org/#samples Patrick: Michael - will look at it a bit more - we want hyperlinks and the images - Regina - question of how to get the images into the HTML file Regina Henschel: into XHTML Patrick: Regina says the MathML id is the same as the image file name when exported to gif - could script replacement with the .gif images Patrick: Continue discussion on mailing list Patrick: 6. Modify <textage-count> for chapters - https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/201910/msg00000.html (Is the request clear enough? Open for 1.4 or request more info?) Patrick: Regina says in bug tracker for LO - but no one is working on it. Patrick: Andreas - should have some implementations to have it Patrick: Adreas - only more questions at this point Regina Henschel: LibreOffice bugtracker 105668, 71583, 50210 Patrick: Regina - could say from manual page number or section - Patrick: Regina - count comes from the meta-statistics - can set page numbers but the overall count is for the entire document Patrick: Regina has not tried linked documents - answer that we are waiting for applications that will work on implementing it, refer to the LO but tracking Patrick: Patrick to answer - and create JIRA issue for ODF-Later and links to bug tracking in LO Patrick: Anjournment - 12:46 ******* Hope everyone is at the start of a great week!
