Subject: Re: Naming of artifacts for ODF 1.3 CSD02

Hi Svante and all,

We define this "Latest stage" (or "Latest version") link to point to a specific file - or to be precise, a symbolic link to a file.
If you inspect the front page of the specification (for instance, [1]), you will see that this is one of the three URIs (for ODT, HTML, and PDF) listed under "Latest stage".
This points to a non-changing "symbolic link", which is then mapped during publication to the actual most recently published file.
(For a multi-part specification like ODF, we map to the first part only, since it provides links to the other parts.)

We like to point to a specific file instead of a directory, since many potential readers may not be familiar with navigating the file system exposed in that way.

we started working on the OASIS header changes using a fork of the ODF-TC GitHub, where you now may see already the updatesÂof the headers of RNG and OWL files.
It was quite straight forward, for the sake of consistency, the following had been corrected:
  1. Normalized "in progress" ", in progress" and ", In progress" to "in progress"
  2. To have the same line start, exchanged the tab before the file descriptionÂwith spaces
  3. Make the OWL file descriptions unique by addingÂonce "Schema" and once "Package" according to their description below.
Would this be okayÂwith OASIS?

The file names were not changed yet to ease a git diff, but for instance, this would be the pattern of the future file name change:

- instead of csprd02, (which is wrong anyway, since csprd02 has already been published), use csd03
- instead of an extended combination like "Committee Specification Draft 02 / Public Review Draft 01", simply use "Committee Specification Draft 03".
