Patrick: quorum - yes
Patrick: also add: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4115 Move descriptions from appendix E1 to attribute 20.404 style:writing-mode as 4.a
Regina Henschel: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4115
Patrick: agenda - approved by consent
Patrick: minutes of 15 Nov. 2021 - approved by consent
Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4116
Patrick: Regina walks through the proposal -
Patrick: No UI for the third value in MS or LO
Patrick: Francis - EML is a legacy format - should we align to it?
Patrick: Not the current OOXML format
Patrick: EML -> VML
Regina Henschel: 4000 is treated as 4000*1/100 mm = 40mm =4cm
Regina Henschel: 4000 * 360 EMU
Regina Henschel: 1440000 EMU
Patrick: Michael, I think it is: 1 meter = 100 centimeters = 1,000 millimeters
Andreas: 4000 * 360 EMU = 40 * 36000 EMU = 40 * 1 mm = 40 mm
Michael Stahl: Patrick, yes
Patrick: The Z-component of the vector is interpreted as absolute value in 1/100th mm. -> The Z-component of a vector is written in millimeter units.
Michael Stahl: ... in 1/100th millimeter units.
Patrick: The Z-component of a vector is written in 1/100th millimeter units. (proposed by Michael)
Patrick: Just to be clear: First paragraph of draw:extrusion-rotation-center remains as written and, we add: The Z-component of a vector is written in 1/100th millimeter units. The geometric center of the shape is described by vector (0, 0, 0).
Francis Cave: EMU stands for "English Metric Unit". See OOXML Part 4, Section 19.1.2.4.
Patrick: Need to rewrite first paragraph to restrict it to x and y components
Andreas: It may be less confusing to write "in 10 micrometer units" rather than "in 1/100th millimeter units".
Patrick: How does that impact: If the draw:extrusion-rotation-center attribute is omitted, the geometric center of the shape is used as the rotation center.
Patrick: If omitted, then the center is the vector 0,0,0
Regina Henschel: The draw:extrusion-rotation-center attribute specifies the position of a rotation center. The X- and Y-component is in shape size fraction. The Z-component is written in 1/100th millimeter units. The geometric center of the shape is described by vector (0, 0, 0). The default value is (0,0,0).
Patrick: geometric center can be specified, or it can be the default 0,0,0
Patrick: rotation center is not the same as geometric center
Patrick: extrusion is a point in three dimensional space
Patrick: default value - is the value where the attribute is omitted.
Patrick: Regina will recast the proposal for revision.
Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4115
Patrick: Start with general section next Monday and then proceed to the individual elements -
Patrick: Regina - sent a mail started looking at the filter for resolved
Patrick: Patrick to respond
Patrick: adjourned -
